Riho had an incredible first year in Morning Musume joining the well-established group on January 2, 2011 as a 9th Generation member succeeding the Platinum Era. Despite being a “rookie” and only 12 years old, Riho quickly surpassed her Generation sisters and earned opportunities to perform as a leading vocalist with the veteran Morning Musume members.
Riho’s success grew further throughout her tenure in Morning Musume eventually being gifted the title “Absolute Ace.” I personally find Riho’s rise to the center position fascinating so I arranged a small compilation of Riho’s solo lines from various concerts in her first year with the group.
