今年はいよいよ、リオ2016オリンピック・パラリンピックが開催されます。組織委員会では、リオ、そしてその先の東京2020大会に向けて、様々なアスリートからのメッセージをお届けしていきます。その第一弾として、2000年のシドニー・オリンピック女子マラソン金メダリストで、東京2020アスリート委員会の委員長でもある高橋尚子さんから熱いメッセージをいただきました。
Rio to Tokyo – Message from an Athlete: #1 Naoko Takahashi
It’s finally here, the year of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games! Tokyo 2020 will be uploading a series of video messages from a variety of athletes, as we look forward to both Rio 2016 Games as well as Tokyo 2020 Games and beyond.
To kick things off, we have a message from Olympic gold medalist Naoko Takahashi. Naoko won a gold medal in the women’s marathon at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, and she is also the chairman of the Tokyo 2020 Athletes’ Commission.
