A Tree in the Sun, and For Tomorrow
This is a youth drama with singing and sword fight by samurai
In the end of Edo period, a turning point that resemble the present.

Ryoan Tezuka is a skillful doctor who is sloppy and drinker, but passionate in his work.
And Manjiro Ibuya is a low-ranked samurai who is full of justice, impulsive and highly skilled with sword.
In the end of Edo period, a dramatic time, they sometimes be a rival in love each other, sometimes be friends and go on their way while overcoming their hard time.

STORY:
In the end of Edo period.
Since the arrival of the Western ships, Japan had been in the turbulent age because of fragmentation of policy.
Ryoan is a clown young doctor who is living in Koishikawa with his father Ryosen Tezuka.
He always loafs around with his disciples at Soba shop without caring about the confusion in his society.
But he has a strong passion in medicine.
One day on his way home, He had been attacked by samurais because he is a doctor of western origin.
Manjiro happened to pass by and helped Ryoan, however,
Ryoan has noticed that he couldn’t no longer escape from the rough situation because the attackers were instigation of doctors of traditional Chinese medicine.
He shouts.
“It doesn’t matter if Chinese or Western origin. I just want to help people.”

Manjiro, who is square and loyal to Tokugawa shogunate, met a man who is excessively cheerful and passionate, Ryoan.
They were in inseparable relationship and were the rival in love by coincidence.
They were at the mercy of the time, conflicted each other, and laughed together.

Through the encounter with Kaishu Katsu, Ryoan and Manjiro learned the truth behind.
What will the fate be then?
A 250-year-old cherry blossom tree, knows the truth, was there with them.
