Mixalive TOKYO Theater Mixa
【概要】泉 鏡花が描く天上的な美の世界が、
朗読と和楽器演奏のコラボレーションで、
この秋ミクサライブ東京に蘇ります。
主演は、富姫役に現代演劇における女形トップ・篠井英介。
姫川図書之助役に荒牧慶彦、佐藤拓也、下野 紘、北村 諒を日替わりで迎え、 和楽器の音色と共に、一期一会の恋のゆくえを描きます。
演出は、歌舞伎版「風の谷のナウシカ」等、多岐に渡り活躍する日本舞踊家・尾上菊之丞が手がけ、
朗読の新たな世界を美しく創出します。

Mixalive TOKYO Theater Mixa
【introduction】
This sky-high world of beauty by Kyoka Izumi
will come to life once again at this autumn’s Mixalive Tokyo,
featuring both a recitation and Japanese instrumental accompaniment.
It will star Eisuke Shinoi, a top female-role actor in Contemporary Theater, as Princess Tomihime.
The cast includes Yoshihiko Aramaki, Takuya Sato, Hiro Shimono, and Ryo Kitamura, who will each take on the role of Toshonosuke Himekawa one day after the other. Each will work to portray this once-in-a-lifetime love story with an accompaniment of Japanese musical instruments.
The production will be directed by Kikunojo Onoe, a Traditional Japanese Dancer who has worked on a diverse range of productions, including the Kabuki version of “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”,
and will create a beautiful new world through the recital of this story.
【story】
Tomihime, the wife of the lord of the castle, is attacked by the enemy and committed suicide.
Now a yokai, she lives on the top floor of the castle keep, holding exquisite banquets every day with a lion’s head, the symbol of the keep, and the spirits who take care of her.
Toshinosuke Himekawa, a retainer of the lord of the castle, appears at the vacant castle tower in search of his lost falcon.
He and Tomihime meet and begin to fall in love…
